Clinical focus
Practice is built around four areas: endourology and laser stone surgery; prostate disease from medical management through to HoLEP; kidney transplantation including donor surgery and long-term graft care; and urologic oncology with laparoscopic and robot-assisted reconstruction. Andrology and men's health form a large part of the OPD, treated with the same clinical rigour as any other problem.
How consultations work
Every recommendation rests on something measurable. A CT KUB before stone surgery; uroflowmetry, residual urine and PSA before prostate surgery; a renogram before deciding whether a kidney is obstructed or simply dilated. Where two reasonable options exist, both are explained with their trade-offs, including the option of doing nothing for now.
If you have been advised an operation elsewhere and want to understand whether it is necessary, a second opinion with your reports is welcome, and you will be told plainly when the original advice was sound.
Patient education
Much of what patients need is information rather than treatment, which is why kidney health, stone prevention, prostate symptoms and men's health topics are covered regularly in short videos on YouTube and Instagram, in Hindi and English.
